Instead of being a regular tourist, you are getting an insider tour led by our florist friend in Tokyo, Chiharu!

She will walk us through the entire market like a real pro, discover the wholesale venders and live auctions, where all the actions happen.
The Ota market owns an enormous tract of land that stretches some 400,000㎡ in the coastal area of Ota ward. The market boasts the largest volume of fruits/vegetables and flowers in Japan. The market has introduced a state-of-the-art computerized transaction system to facilitate the world’s largest flower business. They have a walkway for visitors to observe the market.

After Breakfast, we will head to Moriguchi, a neighbor city just 15mins car ride away from Osaka and spend a day with Kai and his mentor Sachi, Matsuura, in a Japanese traditional style restaurant - Chami!


We will learn from the basic flower knowledge, follow up with using beautiful early summer flowers to decorate the entire restaurant.
